1. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in Franklin App Academy programs or using our website, you ("Parent/Guardian") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not enroll or use our services.

2. Program Description

Franklin App Academy offers an 8-week app development program for children aged 8-12 years. The program includes:

• Hands-on app development training using industry-standard tools
• Small batch sizes (maximum 4 students per batch) for personalized attention
• Guidance in building 2-3 real Android applications
• Support in publishing apps to Google Play Store
• Certificate of completion upon successful program completion

3. Enrollment and Payment

• Enrollment: Enrollment is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or agreed payment schedule
• Payment Terms: Payment details, including fees and installment options, will be provided during enrollment
• Refund Policy: Refund requests must be made in writing. Refunds are subject to the following conditions:
  • Full refund if cancellation is made before the program start date
  • 50% refund if cancellation is made within the first week of the program
  • No refund after the first week of the program
• Seat Reservation: Seats are limited to 4 students per batch and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis

4. Student Responsibilities

• Regular attendance and active participation in all scheduled sessions
• Completion of assigned projects and homework
• Respectful behavior towards instructors and fellow students
• Access to a laptop/computer with internet connection for classes

5. Parent/Guardian Responsibilities

• Ensure student's regular attendance and punctuality
• Provide necessary equipment (laptop/computer with internet)
• Support student's learning at home when needed
• Communicate any concerns or issues to the instructor promptly
• Supervise the use of Google Play Store developer account (parent's account will be used for publishing)

6. Program Delivery

• Schedule: Class schedules will be communicated during enrollment and may be subject to minor adjustments with advance notice
• Missed Classes: Makeup classes or recorded sessions will be provided for unavoidable absences with prior notice
• Program Changes: We reserve the right to modify program content or schedule with reasonable notice to accommodate educational improvements

7. Intellectual Property

• Student Work: Apps created by students remain the intellectual property of the student and parent/guardian
• Course Materials: All teaching materials, curriculum, and resources provided by Franklin App Academy are proprietary and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission
• Portfolio Use: We may request permission to showcase student apps in our marketing materials with proper attribution

8. Google Play Store Publishing

• Apps will be published using the parent/guardian's Google Play Developer account (account creation support will be provided)
• Parents/guardians are responsible for Google Play Store developer account fees (one-time $25 USD fee)
• Franklin App Academy will guide the publishing process but is not responsible for Google Play Store policy compliance or app approval
• Apps must comply with Google Play Store policies and guidelines

9. Limitation of Liability

Franklin App Academy will make every effort to deliver quality education. However:

• We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or app success on Google Play Store
• We are not liable for technical issues beyond our control (internet connectivity, device problems, Google Play Store policies)
• Our total liability shall not exceed the program fee paid
• We are not responsible for any content students create or publish

10. Code of Conduct

• Students must maintain respectful and appropriate behavior
• Bullying, harassment, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated
• We reserve the right to remove students from the program for serious misconduct (with pro-rata refund consideration)

11. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

12. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms and Conditions:

• Both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation
• If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India
• These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India

13. Force Majeure

Franklin App Academy shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, or other emergencies. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or provide alternative arrangements.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate enrollment for:

• Non-payment of fees
• Violation of code of conduct
• Misrepresentation of information during enrollment

15. Modifications to Terms

Franklin App Academy reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to enrolled students and posted on our website. Continued enrollment constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between Franklin App Academy and the parent/guardian regarding program enrollment.
